Community Employment Services (CES) is a department of Algonquin College. CES is a leader in employment services for job seekers and employers in Lanark County. For three decades, Algonquin College has been a partner to the Government of Ontario in delivering employment services to Ontario residents through such earlier programs as Futures and the Labour Adjustment Initiative.

Canadian Career Academy’s mission is to provide comprehensive and personalized employment services to individuals and employers in their community. They’re committed to fostering diversity and inclusion in the workplace, building strategic partnerships, and promoting labor market development to create a better community for all. CCA’s goal is to help individuals achieve their career goals and support local employers in their hiring needs. They strive to make a positive impact on the community by providing top-notch employment services and promoting workforce development. Their services are FREE and confidential. CCA serves residents and businesses of Carleton Place and the surrounding areas, plus Mississippi Mills and Beckwith Townships, Pakenham and Ashton.

Canadian Hearing Services, originally called the National Society of the Deaf and the Hard of Hearing, was founded in 1940 as “an organization which would further the cause of deaf and hard of hearing people”. Key to the direction of the organization was to support the value of Deaf and hard-of-hearing persons as productive, contributing and independent members of society. Innovation, health care and service excellence have always been at the core of Canadian Hearing Services vision: to advance a barrier-free society for Deaf and hard of hearing Canadians. From its inception, Canadian Hearing Services has played a significant role in supporting and meeting the needs of the Deaf and hard of hearing. Canadian Hearing Services has worked diligently to champion accessibility in the workplace in such sectors as healthcare, education and the legal field. In addition, as a service provider, Canadian Hearing Services has always strived to provide a broad range of products and services that serve to remove barriers to communication, advance hearing health, and promote equity.

Serving youth, job seekers, workers, entrepreneurs and employers in the greater Prescott-Russell area of Ontario, the Employment Services Centre (CSEPR) is a non-profit corporation that was founded in 1983. The Centre has 3 offices to better serve its clientele, including its head office in Hawkesbury and offices in Rockland and Embrun. Through its interventions with its various clients, the Centre assists close to 14,000 clients annually and has close to 3,000 positions in its job bank. CSEPR staff is committed to supporting the client by intervening directly with the client or by referring the client to the appropriate resources, internally or externally.

CVE Career and Vocational Evaluation has been providing unparalleled services to the disability community, employers, insurance providers, worker compensation boards, and government ministries since 1993. CVE specializes in providing employment, disability and claims management services necessary to either resolve disability questions or secure long-standing employment success. CVE takes pride in its community programs, clinical services and its staff.

Job Zone d'emploi is the provider of comprehensive employment services in the city of Cornwall, counties of Stormont and Dundas, providing bilingual services to the community since 1985! Job Zone d’emploi is a non-profit, all-inclusive organization that prepares, guides and assists individuals, in English and in French, to find employment through employment and career counselling, information resources, job opportunities and access to community and outreach services. We foster cooperative community partnerships in an effort to be responsive to our clients’ needs while being sensitive and respectful of the challenges facing them. We can respond to the needs of employers by providing information on the local labour force, posting employment opportunities, as well as providing support for HR planning and recruitment.

Community Employment Resource Centre (CERC) is a not-for-profit community-based organization with over 30 years of experience in providing high quality employment services to the Ottawa community. CERC is a service of the John Howard Society of Ottawa. CERC serves all Ontario residents who are looking for employment and training, as well as Ontario employers who are seeking candidates to fill their open positions. Our employment resource centre services are focused on Ottawa West, covering Bells Corners, Kanata, Stittsville, West Carleton and rural Ottawa West.

Pinecrest-Queensway Community Health Centre is an innovative community-based, multi-service center. They strive to meet the needs of the diverse communities served. PQCHC is a multiservice organization which offers programming in the areas of primary health care, mental health services, children and family services, community development and employment services.
