Community Employment Services (CES) is a department of Algonquin College. CES is a leader in employment services for job seekers and employers in Lanark County. For three decades, Algonquin College has been a partner to the Government of Ontario in delivering employment services to Ontario residents through such earlier programs as Futures and the Labour Adjustment Initiative.

Canadian Career Academy’s mission is to provide comprehensive and personalized employment services to individuals and employers in their community. Canadian Hearing Services, originally called the National Society of the Deaf and the Hard of Hearing, was founded in 1940 as “an organization which would further the cause of deaf and hard of hearing people”. Key to the direction of the organization was to support the value of Deaf and hard-of-hearing persons as productive, contributing and independent members of society. Innovation, health care and service excellence have always been at the core of Canadian Hearing Services vision: to advance a barrier-free society for Deaf and hard of hearing Canadians. From its inception, Canadian Hearing Services has played a significant role in supporting and meeting the needs of the Deaf and hard of hearing. Canadian Hearing Services has worked diligently to champion accessibility in the workplace in such sectors as healthcare, education and the legal field. Serving youth, job seekers, workers, entrepreneurs and employers in the greater Prescott-Russell area of Ontario, the Employment Services Centre (CSEPR) is a non-profit corporation that was founded in 1983. The Centre has 3 offices to better serve its clientele, including its head office in Hawkesbury and offices in Rockland and Embrun. Through its interventions with its various clients, the Centre assists close to 14,000 clients annually and has close to 3,000 positions in its job bank. CSEPR staff is committed to supporting the client by intervening directly with the client or by referring the client to the appropriate resources, internally or externally.
